Nomad Life Adventure & Yoga Retreat in the Sahara Desert

Can you imagine waking up to the soft light of dawn, the golden dunes stretching endlessly before you, and the quiet sound of the desert breeze?
This February, we invite you to join us on a very special journey - a nomadic yoga retreat in the Moroccan desert.

From February 4–11, 2026, we’ll travel together from vibrant Marrakech across the Atlas mountains to the heart of the Sahara, where the rhythm of life slows down and every breath feels deeper.

 Martina & Michela

Martina and Michela are two yoga and meditation instructors based in Berlin. Their style is gentle and accessible for everyone. They've been studying in the same yoga school and continued practising different styles of yoga. They will offer gentle movement practice, Zen meditation, as well as Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Martina is also a massage therapist and will offer a mini-massage workshop. 

The program

Day 1 — Arrival in Marrakech
Your Moroccan adventure begins as soon as you land! You’ll be picked up directly from Marrakech airport and taken to our traditional riad in the heart of the city. Take some time to settle in, explore the medina’s colourful streets, and in the evening, we’ll gather for our first rooftop dinner together — the perfect moment to meet the group and start our journey.

 


Day 2 — Across the Mountains to the Desert
After an early breakfast at the riad, we set off on a breathtaking 7-hour drive across the Atlas and Anti-Atlas mountains. We’ll stop along the way for lunch and a gentle stretch. By late afternoon, we’ll arrive in a small village where our nomadic guides will welcome us. From here, we step into a new rhythm: tea, dinner, and our first night under the desert stars, gathered around a crackling fire.

 


Days 3–6 — Living the Nomadic Way
Each day in the desert will flow with the sun.
 Morning yoga & meditation before breakfast
 Gentle camel treks (2.5–3.5 hours) across golden dunes, with rest breaks
 Delicious vegan & vegetarian meals prepared with care
 Afternoons for rest, more practice, and evenings by the fire — sharing stories, learning nomadic traditions, and enjoying live desert music
 A mini massage workshop to nourish body and mind

We’ll spend our first 4 desert nights in shared nomad tents, and our last desert night in a beautiful clay-house camp with comfortable beds, showers, and toilets.

 


Day 7 — Back to Marrakech
We return to Marrakech by car, with a picnic lunch on the way. In the evening, we’ll share our farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant and enjoy one last night together under the rooftop lights of the medina.


Day 8 — Farewell (for now)
After breakfast, enjoy free time in Marrakech depending on your flight schedule. A taxi will take you to the airport, or you can extend your trip to explore Fez, Essaouira, or the blue town of Chefchaouen.
